Yanick Desnoyers

Yanick leads Addenda Capital’s analysis and monitoring of economic activity, developing economic scenarios that form the foundation of the firm’s investment strategies.

 With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Yanick joined Addenda in 2019 as Vice-President and Senior Economist before being appointed Chief Economic Strategist in 2024. He has previously held several senior positions at the Bank of Canada, a top 5 Canadian bank, and the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec.

 Yanick holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Université du Québec à Montréal and a Master’s degree in Economics, with a focus on macroeconomics and macroeconometrics, from the same institution.
