Sylvie Méthot CFA

Sylvie is responsible for developing and strengthening Addenda Capital’s business partnerships with institutional clients across Ontario and Western Canada, as well as managing the firm’s consultant relations.

Sylvie has over 25 years of experience in the investment industry. Before joining Addenda Capital in 2023, she held institutional client servicing and leadership roles at asset management firms. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Manager, Research Analyst at a large consulting firm, a Product Manager at a brokerage firm, and in investment research.

Sylvie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance from Université Laval. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Canadian Options Course (COC) from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI).

She is actively involved in the industry, serving since 2018 as a Canadian Board Member and Chair of the Canadian Investment Committee for the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP). Since 2020, she has also been a Pension Sub-Committee Member for March of Dimes Canada.
