Ara Froundjian CFA

Ara is responsible for the management of corporate bond and impact investing portfolios. He also plays a key role in the development and implementation of the firm’s Active Duration and Corporate Bond strategies and serves on the Active Duration Investment Committee.

Since joining Addenda Capital in 2018, Ara has advanced through increasingly senior investment roles, reflecting his deep expertise in fixed income markets and portfolio management. Prior to joining the firm, he held senior portfolio management positions at a leading institutional asset manager and worked at a global investment management firm, where he gained extensive experience in fixed income portfolio construction, analysis, and trading. Earlier in his career, he worked in commercial financial services.

Ara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Concordia University and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He has also completed the Derivative Fundamentals and Futures Licensing courses from the Canadian Securities Institute.
